Garfield's Fun Fest DVD
Gets International Theatrical Release.

Garfield's second made-for-DVD movie, Garfield's Fun Fest, is finding a new purpose — and that is to entertain theatergoers around the world!

Released on DVD in the United States in 2008, Garfield's Fun Fest is now being sold for theatrical release around the world. To date the following countries will enjoy Garfield's Fun Fest in theatres by the distributors named: (Actual release dates to be determined.)

Garfield's Fun Fest was released in theaters in Turkey, Poland, and Hungary last fall, and box office sales were strong. In Turkey, the film had a 9-week run playing on 3 screens in most multiplex theaters. In Poland it debuted at #4 on 60 screens with an impressive first weekend showing.

This CGI feature film is a production of Paws, Inc., The Animation Picture Company, and Davis Entertainment. Written by Garfield creator Jim Davis, this action-packed adventure takes us to Cartoon World where once again, it's time for Fun Fest, the annual talent competition that determines the funniest comic strip in Cartoon World. Garfield wins it every year, so why should this year be any different? Well, there’s a new shooter in town, that’s why. His name is Ramone. He’s tall, he’s handsome, and he’s a threat.
