Originally launched in February 2008 by Dublin-based creator Dan Walsh, Garfield Minus Garfield reveals a dark and lonely world for its lead character, Jon Arbuckle, who seems to teeter between existential crisis and deep despair with an intense longing for human interaction. Walsh's approach takes the original Garfield strips and removes all of the key characters except Jon.
