In a truly groundbreaking collaboration, CAYLER & SONS has managed to take the legendary Garfield character on a trailblazing shopping spree. For the first time in history, the world’s most syndicated cartoon character is allowed to live out his passion for hip hop culture and streetwear. From embracing his California love to donning notoriously big sweaters and from stunting in the most sought-after sneakers to taking a deep-dive into today’s hypebeast culture – Garfield has never been this fly!
Bonding over the commonality of having never met a pan of lasagna they didn’t like, the Monday-loathing cat and the Munich-based streetwear label have teamed up for a collection of premium quality tees, hoodies, caps and beanies as well as selected denim pieces, each adorned with Garfield’s newly adopted love for streetwear.
In celebration of this innovative partnership, Garfield and CAYLER & SONS will host a pop-up shop on Los Angeles’ renowned streetwear-hub Fairfax Blvd from November 17– 19. The location for this unprecedented joint venture is the world-famous Seventh Letter Gallery. (Only fitting considering the actual seventh letter of the alphabet. A coincidence? Think twice.)
Simultaneous to the opening of the L.A.-based pop-up store, the Garfield x CAYLER & SONS capsule collection will release internationally on Friday, November 17, tentatively dubbed G-Day, in the brand’s online shop and at selected retailers worldwide.
